The 7 stages of inner alchemy

The Book of Life & Death - part 19 There are seven symbolic stages that we go through in every transformation during life. At the end of every successful process of alchemy something in us dies, making room for something new to be born. With the help of a correct application of alchemy, all the metaphysical faculties in our system can be opened and we can advance in the soul’s journey with little less egoic burden, as long as we make real progress. The reality we experience is a combination and projection of the balance and quality of our nervous system, chemistry, physiology, biology, intellect, emotion, karma and dharma. All these aspects with the help of cosmic laws merge together into metaphors of events, circumstances, conflicts, dilemmas of abundance and relationships, traumas and diseases, or any other narrative through which reality tries to signal and hint us with ways and solutions, in order to break internal loops that do not allow our soul to move forward. If we wish to bring ourselves to a psychological revolution, we will have to apply our esoteric work in a gradual and honest way, since the egos who glorify themselves at every opportunity, are not interested in hard work, and often want to proudly jump several levels above everything that they are not yet ready to contain emotionally and mentally. Without proper alchemy, motivation and good intentions can easily turn into an egoic nightmare, the awakening of a spiritual ego, messianism and impersonation of biblical characters.

Another common problem that exists among spiritual aspirants is that they think that intellectual spiritual concepts or their asana practice or believing in convenient ideologies will solve their conflicts, doubts, fears and issues, without a real confrontation with their most dominant defects. That will never happen. Any rapid ascent, without correct, safe and gradual work, will lead to a collapse, with the exact same intensity of frustration. Those who want everything but all at once, will get nothing but gradually. Improper work of alchemy, the desire to round corners and speed up processes by force, will make the journey useless or one that makes people lose their mind, with hard feelings of victimhood, anger and guilt towards concepts that were supposedly the answer to all their life problems. We need to take responsibility, show willingness and make a conscious effort to develop. And yet, like the Lotus flower we must open ourselves patiently, leaf by leaf, in order to give the universe time to do its thing. Any attempt to open the lotus too quickly - will tear the leaves, thus damaging the whole process. This is exactly what happens to people who do Kundalini work, but do not do esoteric work and white alchemy. Their kundalini opens negatively - upside down.

The seven symbolic stages of alchemy:

1. Sanctification

Mental sanctification and preparation for the alchemy process. The first step is dedication and devotion to the journey. The desire to invest energy in a new and uncertain path, in order to explore and discover the innermost layers within us. It is our intellectual and emotional yearning to open ourselves into realms of inner experience that we have not yet discovered. The meaning of the first stage is to set our intentions toward a change. Any action that has any value in the world should come after we know those actions come from the right place. This stage is full with many curious and enthusiastic people who fail in their initial attempts at alchemy and after that go back to the old cycle. In the first stage we accept the fact that all the perspectives that have served us up to this point, are going to change forever. This is the moment when the intention of the soul exceeds earthly expectations, and thus the person hears the call to go through the process of growth, despite all the challenges and obstacles that will inevitably happen during the process of transformation.

Since nothing in life happens unless we have the will and passion to act and change, Success in development and internal alchemy depends on the level of dedication. Dedication must be strong and solid. After all, anything you give 10% of your energy to, will never be able to produce 100% output. The desire of the awakened to begin the transformation is the mental sanctification of the first stage. Many curious people fall at the first obstacles and challenges that reality puts before them. Are you embarking on the awakening process for the right reasons? Are you honest with yourself that you can live up to the principles you put yourself up to and give up the old ones? From the moment we embark on the process of internal alchemy, the supreme guidance will accompany us day and night. Tests will be at every corner. Prepare yourself for minor and major lessons that will teach you the science of fear, guilt, pride, jealousy, anger, and many other frequencies. If you succeed in the journey you will awaken a completely new inner energy. Each step on the spiritual path will open up new abilities, skills and insights, but not before you get purified. Eventually you will discover cosmic realms that will connect the multidimensional puzzle of existence, with renewed evaluation of all reality. This is how we turn our consciousness from lead into gold.

2. Purification

Purging the system. In the next step, after we have devoted ourselves to the process of awakening, we have read enough intellectual material and received an honest and authentic motivation for change, here comes the self-discipline stage that includes purification on all levels. We need to purify our system not only nutritionally as is customary in the western world, but also mentally, energetically and emotionally. Purification is the release of pain, traumas and emotional blockages, accompanied by purification of negative mental projections and negative environments. The principles we learned in the first stage are reflected in practices that help us release the pain and confront memories and events in this and previous lives in order to heal.

To purify the system we can use 4 types of energy transformation:

Change of environment - some people no matter how close they are in terms of family, friends or spouse, will always try to discourage you or shut your hopes for a better future. If you are in business, try to remember that in your first steps, when you had nothing but just the will to become independent, many of those you considered to be friends try to “warn” you not to get into business. People are doing it all the time without even noticing. Everyone tries to give you advice based on their own failures. No one really wants your circumstances to be better than theirs. Mind the negative energies of your surroundings. It will drain you and discourage you from moving along. At some point you will have to make tough decisions about who you want in your life and who you have to let go. Make it as soon as possible, and try to keep likeminded people around you. Never let the voice of losers dictate on influence you inner voice.

Transformation of food - elimination of impure processed food from the system. This is where principles of rajas and sattvic nutrition, protocols of intermittent fasting or complete fasting, or the use of herbs come into play. Most of the products sold today are engineered and cause damage to the system. 80% of all diseases originate in the large intestine, so it is not surprising that most of humanity today develops diseases. If you are sick all the time, if your physiological system is in survival mode constantly, there will be no spirituality

Transformation of air and energy -

The journey of awakening is the Kundalini journey, vertebra after vertebra. In order to implement such a transformation we use the practices of Pranayama, Kriya Yoga and sexual alchemy. The way we breathe will naturally affect our level of perception. The level of Kundalini will affect the consciousness. There are many people who come to meet me that don’t know how to breath correctly. It affects them on every level of being. They either hipo ventilate or hyperventilate and in doing so they damage their system tremendously. After we learn how to breath correctly, we can then implement the Kriya techniques in order to help navigate the air in our system and our consciousness from external - downward attention to internal - upward attention.

Transformation of expressions -

This is the most important transformation we need to complete in the purification process. Expression purification is essentially mental. The first step is to be aware of the content you consume in terms of viewing, reading and listening. The mainstream content today is replete with information that leads people to anxiety, fear, neuroticism, social and national dogmas, to create division between people and maintaining a dormant state of mind. The more consciously you choose your content, the more you will begin to experience changes in your mental projections. At the same time, in order to complete the purification process, a conscious choice of literature will not be enough for us. We must recognize and apply the practices of emotional alchemy and mental alchemy, understand our psychological defects to the root and only then do we get to release them.

Purification is a process that continues throughout our lifetime. As we need to bathe the body every day, we clean out the old expressions consistently to make room for the new. We have to become conscience of our own perceptions and dogmas. That is way we need our daily meditation on our defects. We must not trust our own justifications and rationalizations. Laziness in this case will belong to those who consider themselves already pure. Without the purification step there will be no progress to the next steps. A system without good energy flow will lead people to low frequency and low forms of expression. Toxins from outside and from within accumulate over time and affect all other layers of experience.

3. Putrefaction

Beginning of death processes of egoic layers. Everything in our experience, physical or mental, eventually goes through the transformative change called death. Death is a different form of energetic expression. Death is inevitable in the physical realm. Life and death are forever corelated. In order for us to live, something else have to die, may it be a plant or an animal. The energy within us, our essence does not go anywhere. Cells die, molecules can separate, atoms can detach, but the energy doesn't go anywhere. But we are not talking about a physical death but rather a psychological death. Spiritually we call the third stage, a death process of our identity. Putrefaction stage is the acceleration of all previous stages. The old concepts begin to die within us gradually. The old truth and dogmas start to descend into the status of myths. We free ourselves from our history, identity, and especially the traumas that happened to us, which still hold us back from taking actions of change in life. At this stage we confront our real fears and cross a bridge into a new experience of perception and abilities. Here we are building our new internal infrastructure. Through the esoteric practices we get rid of negative patterns to make room for a new awareness. The practices themselves are only a bridge so that you can implement changes that you avoided and ran away from before. The practices themselves are not the cure. Your actions, thoughts and decisions in life - this is the real healing that affects conditions and karma. This stage requires daily work, using all your intentions and all your heart in order to succeed.

4. Fermentation

After we go through the early stages of purification, the 4th stage symbolizes the difficult tests the soul goes through which many recognize as the Dark night of the soul. This is the stage where we confront the greatest existential beliefs and doubts of our experience, feel the full weight of our incarnations, the karma we have accumulated, the state of collective human suffering and much more. All the emotional flooding and dormant pain that we awakened in the third stage, now rises to our awareness. We can no longer run away from our problems, or avoid the conflicts and dilemmas of life here or in the upper realms. In the fourth stage we go through both earthly and astral initiations and tests. We are asked to face a variety of challenges in order to reach the integration of the information and insights of the previous steps. We need to be aware of the various egos in our system and work with the Kundalini power in order to release the psychological defects once and for all. The astral initiations are ultimately another catalyst with which we are tested on our honesty, authenticity, expression, assertiveness, compassion and ethics, so our spirit will know without any doubts we have really learned and changed ourselves. Are we ready for the next phase of learning? It is a phase of growing up, releasing the illusions of the past, and beginning to perceive a more objective truth. This work is not pleasant in any way. Those who think that the spiritual journey is easy delude themselves.

5. Combustion

The kundalini rises slowly, vertebra by vertebra, through the esoteric work and through the state of purity, love and compassion of the heart. Kundalini only works with us when we work with it. Kundalini awakens through transmutation and sexual magic when we practice white alchemy, where there is no emission of cosmic energy from the body. Kundalini rises in a positive way when we accumulate positive dharma and karma. Kundalini descend in a negative way when we accumulate negative karma. We need to trust the ethics and the internal resources we have created within us, and experience for ourselves by direct experience the cosmic drama of awakening, the same biblical allegory of which we learn in the story of Jesus' crucifixion. The act itself is a symbol that despite the pain of the egos and worldly sins, we can crucify all defects with the Kundalini fire. Burning the defects reactivates our 12 metaphysical senses.

In the fifth stage the kundalini fire rises in our spine, which makes us confront the karma and information we have accumulated life after life. The information that this energy brings up is so intense, that it can create in people an illusion of grandeur or messiahship, when they do not perform the foundation steps of alchemy properly. People whose kundalini opens while the lower chakras are out of balance will experience difficulty translating the information coherently. The egos will always interfere, creating false interpretations of self glorification. The kundalini fire runs through the entire system, from the base chakra through the Sushumna channel to the crown, flooding all the deepest spiritual conflicts, pushing truth and expression out. There is no ego who sees the face of God and remains alive. What dies at that moment are the remains of the ego.

6. Regeneration

.All religions and science deal with aspects of resurrection or cell renewal. But in today's collective state of awareness, the stories and concepts of religions and science are a band-aid that does not solve internal problems. Such manipulations are like moving big quantities of healthy people into a neighborhood where everyone is dying all the time. The renewal of the system and the emergence of completely new thoughts and mechanisms can only happen when we have passed all the early stages of alchemy successfully. In the sixth stage we begin to unlock spiritual abilities and integrate the new intuition and consciousness into our lives in a harmonious way. The mental resources get clearer and work for creation and healing. The quality of chemistry, biology, psychology and the range of perspectives changes completely.

By way of Unconscious interpretations, religions believe in death and rebirth after Judgment Day, but if we look at the matter esoterically, We see that the death of the old ego opens the door to new realities of higher dimensions. Life becomes a journey of truth, honesty and authenticity. The ascension and balance of the lower chakras allows the heart to change course and contain life more fully. The throat begins to act, giving expression to the truth from the heart, the intuition and vision of the third eye sharpens and the truth becomes clearer, as does the higher guidance of what we are supposed to do with our body in any specific life.

Unfortunately, most people prefer to believe in stories that are given by external authorities, than actually reach these levels through practice and self-discipline. If we rely on the normal collective evolution of humanity, this healing process can take thousands of lifetimes. It is our responsibility to accelerate healing, consciousness and remembrance in order to end human cycles of karma. At this stage the system is ready to receive more light and the spiritual aspects take command of our body and will, completely releasing the identities that we held to before. All the cells of the body receive a new energetic quality and cosmic vitality that comes through a higher frequency. Creating reality and self meaning becomes natural, the body stops producing diseases, Consciousness and awareness become essentially metaphysical. The events of life become metaphors which need to be comprehended. Humility, compassion, acceptance, love and joy, all get a dominant expression in our experience.

7. Atonement

Completion and integration. Here we finish the current transformation process and reach a more harmonious state in life. The system receives an upgrade and enters a state of rest until the next alchemical process. In order to complete the alchemy process definitively in the human samsara - wheel of life and death, we need to raise our kundalini 7 times in all 7 of our bodies. After we raise the kundalini 7 times we reach graduation in the human school, a revelation of the supreme inner authority and an inner experience of union and oneness. People who reach the last stage of inner alchemy become the bearers of light, representatives of wisdom, and cosmic intelligence. Full spiritual enlightenment is a reflection of a long journey, many incarnations, gradual release of many karmas, understanding of life’s lessons, and of course corrections and radical change. The experience at this level is essentially meditative, metaphorical, and completely aligned with objective reality. When we undertake the alchemical, yogic and esoteric journey, we embark on an honest process of finding the paradise within. For things to change in your life, the work we implement is always an internal alchemy. Manipulation of the external world has never resulted in inner growth, but rather in the suffering of people who have someone else's idea imposed on them. The inner work causes the opposite effect, where the vibration you produce attracts to you the events and abundance that is synchronized to the same level, and thus your frequency attracts to you all the aspects that are synchronized to exactly the same frequency.
